RE: A trip to Wales

A lot of good lanes have gone forever , some remain , lots of map reserch to get the facts correct , more road milage between lanes .
but its worth it .

Re: A trip to Wales

its a shame, happens with us on the bikes too, the welsh two day is getting like a tt on nobblies! did that not close the strata off then?

in the summer i was at Twn Twyll for an enduro and we had a pit stop after the strata, all the bikes were coming to meet me and the other vans at the pits and a load of land rovers went the opposite way down the road ignoring the one way system that had been put in so stop any accidents. They came back later on that day (a defender in tow) but looked like theyd had a good time.

Re: A trip to Wales

Hello guys,

Great pictures from your trip!

I wonder, even with the gray Walsh Skies, there are more than two vehicles on that nice outing.......

We have the offroad terrain, sunshine, warm weather, great spirits (even in the bottle) and can't find anybody who wants to come along

What's your secret, what are you promising the unwary participants?

Keep up the good work, I always enjoy the tales from the Isle

RE: A trip to Wales

Tom, Strata still open , thankfully very nice lane .
Karl, the problem we have is to many people want to go whatever time of year unlike a lot of groups we try to restrict it to a max of Six vehicles .
The thing is people feel safer doing trip with people with experence , as a group we have been driving these lanes and other lanes there about for years and are very aware of some of the historical aspects of the lanes driven .
plus we always have good food and beer
