| Exhaust heat shield on 280ge
Hello all, my G does not have the heat shield which attaches to the exhaust manifold. I looked on the EPC and they are no longer available. I am looking to make one either with sheet metal or using the racing type insulation and configuring somehow. Either way I intend to make some type of mount such that it goes on and off easy for engine maintenance,cleaning etc. Have any of you done something like this ? Is it really necessary ? Looking for ideas.
