RE: wtb: 463 for under 20k

Dude(dudette), I wouldnt "settle" for anything. Take your time, find the one you want, pay a little more for one that you know for a fact is clean and well taken care of. Most here would consider a W463 under 28k somewhat of a deal but with bit of skepticism of its past. My guess is a W463 under 20k purchased today will actually cost you 30k by next year fixing what needs to be fixed.

Let us know your location as there are people her that have "connections"....I am not one of them. They can point you in the right direction and help in your search.

I agree with Desertstar. I took 6 months to finally locate my turbo diesel cab and it was well worth the wait. Also review the club GWagon classified weekly: http://www.clubgwagen.com/classifieds/ads.php

RE: wtb: 463 for under 20k

Damn dude, my 280 GE LWB is 100% up for a road trip. Great driving truck. Needs very minor work to make it right. ONly thing that HAS to be done, is windshield popped out, post redone and reset. She hasn't brunt a drop of oil since I have owned her.

Since it is stored under a shed or garage I haven't done it, but if it was to sit out in rain, it would have to be done before you start getting water gremlins under the dash.

My truck for $12995. is a friggin steal and if I did't have a car for every day of the week plus 2 for weekends I would keep it. (My list of cars only are my MB's kind of A Porsche Nut, and I have a few Fords and a bad ass little Touareg V8 2 keep me and wife honest)

My theory is, I have used it made memories with it, time to move on.

Fly into Philly and drive her home!
