While looking at MBUSA G's I noticed that the prices for 2004 and 2005 G55's aren't half bad. It would seem the depreciation is quite bad. So since I can't put 16" rims on a G55, has anyone here ever tried putting G500 springs on a G55 and mounting an agressive A?T or M/T tire on them? Or better yet, would a 17 inch rim clear the caliphers on a G55? I'm sure this has been discussed before so sorry if I'm retreading old topics.

I settled on Toyo Open Country in 285 60 18. Give me a couple weeks. It is snowing right now and in the am I will have to drive around in unplowed 4 - 6 inched of snow and slush and ice. I know how the coopers were (pretty good) and I know how the bfg at ko are (fantastic). Stay tuned. 17 inchers may fit but tire availability is limited.
