Mirror glass

I have a 2002 G500 and the right wing mirror glass has "fallen off" while being serviced. I called the dealer and they want over $200 for the glass and my local Mercedes recycler (Potomac German) don't have one. Does anyone have a lead on a used piece of glass?

See what these folks charge. I've seen some very good prices from them:

From what I understand, that glass just clips in place; and the real trick is to re-clip it back without breaking it.

RE: Mirror glass

I bought a driver side one at my dealer for $135 suggested retail.

If you buy it from Caliber Motors (800) 252-6877 - tell them you are a Mercedes club member, they will probably discount it 25%.

Dutch,

Trademotion is a good website. I never saw it before. Good place to get an idea about costs.

If you still have the glass and it is just the clips that have broken off, you can be cheap like me. I used a hot glue gun to re-attach the glass temporarily, and it has been like that for a couple months. If you use hot glue instead of adhesive you can throw a heat gun to it and release the glass to get the mirror mechanics.

I appreciate all of your help, guys.
