How difficult it it to correctly remove and install the pistons? Manual uses special tools and talks about "brake paste" . Never heard of brake paste.

Insert a piece of wood between the pistons thick enough so they are not flying out when applying compressed air, good idea is to "exercise" them a bit with the air and push the piston back in - a few times. Doing it this way you might get ALL four pistons far enough out to remove them by hand - and not just one piston flew out and the others are still stuck in, out of your reach.
