Interior light not work working? Watch out!

So I found out the hard way what fuse on a 463 shares with the stereo and interior light today - when in deep snow!
Yes I flicked those trusty switches to engage the diff locks, and nothing! Not a single light!

So the moral of the story is don't stuff around with putting in a stereo just before heading out 4WDing - especially when you blow a fuse

But the ending was all happy when I found fuse number 13 and replaced it whilst getting snowed on

280GE LWB 300GE LWB and the G300 is a SWB... it was the 300GE that I had fuse issues with
Yes I'm still deciding on which one to sell. At the moment the 280GE and the G300 are in a dead heat. But after the fuse issue in the 300GE the 280GE is more likely to be kept

This is the beast that gave me the dramas - mind you it was my fault for playing with the stereo

RE: Interior light not work working? Watch out!

You call THAT deep snow?

This is deep snow, at least to deep for a stock 400 CDi

ha ha ha - no it's not deep snow that I took those shots in
But it was much deeper - but certainly not as deep as what you are in there!

It's actually easy to get stuck in snow. Just get enough packed hard underneath, so the wheels don't get firm contact with the ground...

That's where the Icelandic recipe with very wide tyres and very low pressure comes into play.
