Looking to buy a E320 CDI

Greetings, I am looking at a E320 CDI for my wife and I (mostly my wife) and I was wondering if there any of the years to stay away from. I would prefer either an '05 or '06. Are there any known issues or quirks with these? From the current owner's stand point, what are your impressions? Thanks in advance

RE: Looking to buy a E320 CDI

I bought an 05 CDI CPO for my wife 2 years ago (thread is on here somewhere) The only recall on it pertained to the glow plugs being replaced. The CPO process and warranty are really extensive, and in my opinion, worth considering. The paperwork documents everything and the added warranty gives piece of mind. Other than replacing the tires, the car has been flawless.

RE: Looking to buy a E320 CDI

Thanks for that Roch, I appreciate the input. Looks like that is about all I'll get around here.
Are you a FF? I like your avitar. I am a FF/EMT here in Albuquerque IAFF L244. Nice to see some of us can still afford to drive a Mercedes, at least for now.

Not a CDI owner here, but in my estimation the CDI is right up near the top of the list of best sedans you can buy, at any price.

Possibly #1, all things considered.
