Re: Sean & Steve please confirm...

Sadly enough, a Carfax vehicle history report shows that the original owner did live in Nashville, Tennessee...

RE: Sean & Steve please confirm...

At least the colour scheme didn't continue in to the interior.

Hey, hey, hey now not all of us Nashville folks drive G's like that. But Jesus that thing is horrible. You, know, you can't buy good taste I suppose.

I suddenly feel like an orange.

Where can I get a set of bead locks to fit 24" rims?

I do not know if this truck belonged to them. I do know they own a G500 cabrio.

Re: Sean & Steve please confirm...

The only thing I can imagine is that the car was previously owned by them, but re-painted by the second owner. If that is the case, it is liberal advertising, if it isn't, Faith Hill just got a little less hot than I always felt she was...

My friend once owned an ex-Swiss road maintainance 300GD. It was a very similiar orange color.

RE: Sean & Steve please confirm...

Like other hidious looking Gs I have seen on eBay, I see this G as being no better use than scrap.  Some other options might be a target practice range, demolition car derby, etc...

I am speechless.  I cannot imagine anyone doing something like this to a G.  I cannot imagine Tim and Faith doing this.  I know Carrie Underwood is in Nashville and has a huge love for Oklahoma State University (orange is State's school color); but I do not beleive she would do something like this.  Now Kelly Pickler--that is another story.  This has got to be the work of the current owner.

Re: Sean & Steve please confirm...

yeah, it's different alright... not into big rims but at least they aren't chrome and the geometry of them is actually not overstated... expect, again, the size. All things considered though it's not any different than the wild red ones or the blues ones that have come out of the Graz factory. Except it isn't a round vehicle, it'd be fun to get a "pumpkin" license plate... maybe for the new FJ!

RE: Sean & Steve please confirm...

Kinda like buying a Picasso for your toilet... But come on guys, it's a G, just like my 88 300GD. It's not ugly or bad. Think of it like your child, he or she might do bad things but it's not inherently evil. Theres a good G beneath that paint just waiting to be loved. It just might be a cry for help.

I dont know if 70 000 usd for a G55 is steep or not, but give it a paintjob and buy some stock wheels and it's all redeemed.

RE: Sean & Steve please confirm...

Faith Hill owns a cabriolet purchased from Russ at Europa. Bought it on her birthday. She still owns it. They never owned this piece of junk, nor has it been seen on the streets in this color combination in Nashville.

RE: Sean & Steve please confirm...

It sure looks like a color on the list of custom colors from DB...RAL2000 ? Maybe special order ?
http://4x4abc.com/G-Class/460color1.html
That color belongs on a W460....they wear the uglier,out-of-style colors best.

Well, the vendor states that:

CUSTOM LAMBORGHINI ORANGE PAINT JOB (25K INVESTED IN PAINT JOB)

I don't think that a Lamborghini colour can be out of style. It's a matter of tastes.... but $ 25k? Who painted the car? Picasso?

Re: Sean & Steve please confirm...

im not really one for a bling g, understated is more my preferal, but of all the stand out g's ive seen this is the worse. why would you spend 25k on that paint job, but then if your stupid enough to choose that colour your stupid enough to have your undies pulled down over the price.

i dunno maybe its my mentality of not wanting to stand out like a bell end, but give me KERR's any day!
