I do have a switch box from a W463 without ESP......A463 545 03 32

Looks like it is from a W463.308.....

Out of what did you make the switches? I just thought of the microswitch in the door lock assembly ...

Drew,

they are way to large for it. I just found some very small momentary switches to fit into that limited space, almost the size of the ones under the rockers next to it.

Good to know Karl - I have been wondering how to use those switches could be used for things like Aux lights in addition to uses like you have in mind ...

Drew,

If you look at the other (old) post with the pictures of the switches, you will see that the "new" switches were a bit elevated with a help of a plastic tube.
A case of trail & error to get the correct height, so the rocker would work and also stay in the same position as the others right and left from it.

For my HID driving lights, I ended up installing a small rocker switch in the interior panel below the steering column just above the carpeted cover from the pedal assembly.

This On/Off switch is controlling a Bosch power relay's coil, the -12VDC (ground) side, while the +12VDC of the coil is interfaced to the High Beam circuit.
