I haven't worked out the nitty gritty yet, but if I can swing the time I'd love to do the trip. My wife is off the week leading up to Labour day (which falls on the 7th) - so that time period would be best in theory. Is this within your available time, Al? Anybody else?

So where are we at with this folks?
I am in no position to lead this trip, but would like to get the ball rolling. Who would be in for a Sept 5 & 6 run at the Whipsaw as noted above. Based on reading what I could find it's a 2 day trip that involves camping one night. If we are able to do it, has anybody done it before that can show us the way, give us information on fuel requirements etc?
I am tentatively in if someone is capable of leading it.

I'd like to go earlier than that, but that can be up for negotiation. I can go during the week if that works for anybody else? I've also never done the trail, so like Jim, I'm in for the drive but I'm not leading.

I may be able to do sept 5-6 also, but not too sure about during the week. But I also have not done the whipsaw before so it would be nice to find someone to lead this or at the very least some more info. Maybe there is a club doing a run we could hook up with ?

I have Sunday August 30th till Thursday September 3rd open. Jim and I are talking about a route a little closer to home. (more eastern interior)

Sorry man, we went for a day trip today. We'll have to see if we can sneak in another trip before the snow flies.
We found a new playground just outside Radium. Might have to go back....
