Thank you explain please Under the bell housing (which contains the torque converter) there is a rectangular cover, pull this out and you can see the torque converter. Using a large pry bar, rotate the torque converter until the drain screw is pointing straight down. Make sure you have a replacement seal washer, this is not a good place for a leak. This vehicle is on 320 000 km and the transmission is not half as well behaved as my wife's C class that is sealed and has nearly half a million on it. I think in future that if it is red and smells of celery then I will leave it alone. | ||
