BBS Split rim ( armored G's )

The BBS Split rim A3304000302 ( #12 on http://www.rubicon-trail.com/G-Class/wheels/start.html ) as used on armored early G's - do they need special tires for them or work? Are they 2 piece or 3 piece - has anyone got a set of these>

Re: BBS Split rim ( armored G's )

I'm trying to work out the correct wheel bolt as I never got a full set. The Wheel bolt that were there are 19mm across face and have thread length of 45mm. Strangely for this wheel not wheel bolt is listed on the EPC. Harolds website has an error in it as the wheel bolt listed is A140 400 05 70 however this bolt has a 17mm head.

Re: BBS Split rim ( armored G's )

Any suggestions as to how best to point this wheel?
I want to paint it black - Do I paint it completely assembled with existing stainless steel bolts? or paint it in piece parts ? How do you paint the stainless bolt heads?

Any ideas for the hub-cap - don't like the original one somehow suits it?
