If you are concerned that it may get damaged simply pull it out of the hub and tie it out of the way. You don't need to remove it from the vehicle


Thanks. That assumes, of course, that it can be pulled out without damage. :raiseeyebrows:


A liberal soke with a good easing oil or kerosene, then tighten the fastner 1/4 turn to "crack" the thread before loosening generaly does the trick for me.
Give the component a good waggle and they ussualy pop out easy.

Does anyone what is the torque spec for reattaching this little hex bolt that holds the ABS sensor to the hub? Thank you!

I'd assume somewhere in the range of 3 to 5 Nm.
