You are correct Dutch, I clicked on the PM but didn't scroll down to read it. I must delete some PM's to easily see the current message content.

Re: De-bling the G --- Side moldings

I'm looking to replace the ones underneath the doors as they are getting bent. It looks like it's peeling off but cannot be pushed back to place(I think there's metal in it). Does anyone have a part number for just the bottom ones? Is there a know fix for this. Trying to get this baby back to like new condition again.

Thank you,

Re: De-bling the G --- Side moldings

There is metal in the plastic that eventually rusts internally and then warps on the ends. You can get them from your favorite parts vendor. I got mine from EuroTruck.

1 x Ledge / Rocker Molding, Left - Long Wheelbase & Fender Flares
(4636902962) = $172.00
1 x Ledge / Rocker Molding, Right - Long Wheelbase & Fender Flares
(4636902862) = $172.00

Re: De-bling the G --- Side moldings

They are super easy to change out. There are 9 screws per side under the center plastic cover strip. Replace corroded screws if needed, clean, wax and put the new ones on. 15 minute job.

Re: De-bling the G --- Side moldings

I am sure the 463 ledge/rocker moldings do not have any metal in them. The warping is due to the plastic deforming over time. The older 460 rocker pads were solid/foam rubber like the side rub strips and they had a metal reinforcing bar in them.

Thanks. Thank pretty much answers the question as to whether or not there is a metal strip in the W463 moulding.
