If so, then check the vacuum at the valve tree. If not, try applying 12V directly to the valves. Maybe they got gummed up with something.

Chances are that they will have disconnected down there (happened to me). With the lockers engaged (yellow light) you should have vacuum on each line. If not, start following back until you find the fault. If you do have vacuum down there, then the fault lies in the hydraulic parts. It is possible that the supply has been interrupted by a kinked pipe. Lots of places to look for faults.

Take the locking cylinder (on each axle) apart, and clean out the sludge, Make sure the pistons are smooth, lubricate with some ATE grease and bleed the system. I had to replace one of the intensifiers on my adventurewagen, the vacuum connector was broken off. Good Luck Saludos, Karl

See if you can access the three inline check valves, behind the solenoid cluster. Your driving dusty roadways. Remove, drop some oil, (oil will collect dust and cake it) or flush out with spray silicone? My venture with all this vacuum line locker junk was expensive, buying this and that....After all said an done, it was the cheap little check valves! I have a brand new intensifier, sitting on the shelf, I'll send it to you, if you really think that's what it is? Now think about it, as you swim! Enjoy your time away? DNH

The system is powered by vacuum generated by the engine. Ambient air forms the other side of the pressure differential and each air inlet should have little air filters on it. They look a bit like aquarium air bubblers. I suppose the the filters themselves could become so plugged up that they interfere with operation.

4x4abc Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: La Paz, Baja California, Mexico Vehicle(s): 02 G500 | Re: G500 lockers not working Jesse, "turning the wheels full lock left and then full lock right" is almost a guarantee that the locker will NOT engage a locker needs an rpm difference between left and right if you start creating that by turning left and then turn right before the locker had a chance to engage, you are turning the rpm difference back to zero a slow turn in either direction will net the best result Edited by 4x4abc 8/27/2014 1:30 AM

So MB wisely put all the suceptable parts over there. You V8 (and V6) drivers should carefully look at the vacuum lines, crank position sensor and the tubing for the locker reservoir.
