The information was invaluable in helping me to make a tire choice--especially the information about size options. Last month I put on LT 275/70 R18 Cooper Discover ST Maxx tires. Slightly larger than the 265/60's R18s that were on there, they add a little more clearance and footprint and look cool. These tires have been gracious on the road, and I used them in the Arizona Bradshaw Mountains offroad this weekend and they were terrific. Side note: I'm going to be selling my spare tire cover/ring because it does not fit around my new spare. Also, I put on alloy wheels so I'll be selling my oem chrome finished wheels. I intend to put some eBay listings together on those at some point, which I'll share here in case there is interest. Thanks, again. Photo attached from the mountain hamlet of Crown King, AZ. As I view the image, are my eyes deceiving me when I look at your Ashroths? They too look good and appear to be same finish as your G. If not, the Arizona soil adds a perfect "patina"

I have learnt to be very careful with larger tire sizes on 2002-2005+ models, it can cause the ESP to react so brutally that you actually can go off the road in a curve. Once you adjust the transfer case and the cluster (in your case to 33", which on a 2002 model means selecting 8.25R16 as tire size), everything gets back in line including the odometer. Later models have fewer tire sizes selection than the 2002. On 2013+ models, changing the tire size is controlled by the factory, which of course refuses. But interestingly, larger tires do not cause any ESP issues or speed accuracy, only the mileage is off.
