low cost interior LED dome lights (W460)

Short time listener, first time poster.

These were quite low cost, and popped right in, they do only work one way.

Cutequeen White 42mm(1.72") 8-SMD 12V Festoon Dome Light LED Bulbs 211-2 212-2 569 578 - White (pack of 4)
--found on amazon for $6.00 for a (4) pack

Sorry about the pics showing up upside down. Argh.

Each dome light needs (2)

Nice post!

Are they quite a bit brighter?

What do you mean by "they only work one way" ?

Nice - you will want to reveal your location and vehicle type before a moderator reminds you to do so

Apparently the LED lights have a polarity. Says so right on the Amazon description page, they do not work if put in backward, so you have turn the little fellas around, if they don't shine, at first.

As for the light, they are indeed brighter, and a very much "cooler" in color.

Re: low cost interior LED dome lights (W460)

They do have a polarity. That is why one lead on the LED is longer than the other...

These work very well in the rear. I also installed one in the front, but it has too much glare, so I'm going back to the standard bulb in the front.

What type of bulb would be need for the one light that is located on the bottom of the doors on 2013 g550? I would like them to be little brighter to see the ground as I exit the car in the NW
