engine change

Hi. I intend to put the engine E 270 cdi in one old g model without esp.
I relocated the ecu and key. Will I have a problem with ECU bicose the ESP? How to solve the problem with esp modul?

I haven't seen many cdi conversion yet, most of them because of the added electronics.

All the om60x conversions are pretty popular, but who knows the cdi conversions are a new trend!

they are in fact getting more and more popular as the donor vehicles are getting older and cheaper. I knew a guy that did a 320 cdi in w460 and he said that its all doable and not that hard, unfortunately lost his contacts.

You know the Dutch guys were pretty busy doing all kind of diesel conversions, but now with the new tax rules and old cars, the whole diesel hobby and business for older cars is collapsed.
Old diesel engines going for almost scrap prices, so no one is doing the research of the cdi swap a.f.a.i.k.

The diesel projects at hand were stored, abandonded or tranformed into gas conversions again, crazy...gas-diesel-gas...
