FWIW, the bearings for both the 461 I posted in this thread and my 463 (G500) have the same identical MB part numbers. Ergo, I seriously doubt if there is a difference in material quality.

Basically same size bearing. And quality. The P/N's are identical for both the G500 and the supposed CA W461 G.

Basically same size bearing. And quality. The P/N's are identical for both the G500 and the supposed CA W461 G. While the bearings AND the swivel ball housing are identical for the Canadian W461 and my 2000 G500 (W463), the hubs have different part numbers. I wonder if that's the difference between the wheel lug bolts on my G500 and the wheel studs and lug nuts on the Canadian W461. The EPC does not show any differences in the drawings. If someone could come up with a more recent VIN for a Canadian Forces G, it would be interesting to see if there are any major changes with the newer model.

It says in the Mercedes workshop pdf that they have wider diff carrier and stronger c&p. There is no special mention of the wheel bearings as far as I remember.
