G500 bearings will work as well as they are the same dimensions as the ones in the Canadian military G.
the difference is in the material quality of the bearings as you know not all bears are created equal, as well as the Canadian knuckles only needing bolts NOT studs to mount wheels.

FWIW, the bearings for both the 461 I posted in this thread and my 463 (G500) have the same identical MB part numbers. Ergo, I seriously doubt if there is a difference in material quality.

this is what I wanted to confirm. Basically same size bearing.

And quality. The P/N's are identical for both the G500 and the supposed CA W461 G.

While the bearings AND the swivel ball housing are identical for the Canadian W461 and my 2000 G500 (W463), the hubs have different part numbers. I wonder if that's the difference between the wheel lug bolts on my G500 and the wheel studs and lug nuts on the Canadian W461. The EPC does not show any differences in the drawings.

If someone could come up with a more recent VIN for a Canadian Forces G, it would be interesting to see if there are any major changes with the newer model.

RE: Wheel offset w460

The heavy duty axles (bottleneck) have studs for wheel mounting. It says in the Mercedes workshop pdf that they have wider diff carrier and stronger c&p. There is no special mention of the wheel bearings as far as I remember.
