Interior light contact switch...upgrade ?

My 85-280GE and 95-G320 both have the same style rear cargo door contact switch as shown in the attached photo and of which does NOT pull out to shut off the light while the door is open.  Does the switch that DOES pull out on the later model W463s (circa-1997-2000) look the same (and mount the same) ?  If not what kind of modification would be required? Photo ?

Thanks,

 mike

You'd probably have to bore a bigger hole to fit the switch.  Otherwise nothing special.  I think I have an extra, BTW.

With that said, I assume it does not attach with the one screw as shown.  Is the switch like this one?

Thanks Alan.  Let me see how I would mount that switch...it seems like I would have to make a big rectangular hole to accomodate.  I will hold off until I see one "in person" to get a better idea.  Thanks for confirming the switch type though...I believe it may be part" A2018202110 as referenced in EPC.

Just a round hole for the threaded portion.   The door and frame are all 460 parts, so it should fit.

OK, stupid me...I forgot you can access that hole from the inside (I just pulled panel off the W463).  Problem solved.  Keep yours for a spare, I see they are 3.49 and added one on my current order.  Thanks for the offer.
