I am in the process to fix the Audio 10 & thought the "old antenna cable" was gone. No, it is still hidden there but someone had cut the connection point(at front footwell) to the radio. What I have found is the antenna amplifier, A463 820 0289 is there too. It is mounted below the rear left window(the fixed pane). This part not supposed to be fixed under dash close to the radio?? I am confused. I would like to restore back the original set up of the antenna & the cabling. My question is: 1. Where is the antenna located? 2. Where is the antenna amplifier located? 3. How is the cable run from the antenna to the radio? I have purchased new antenna(A463 820 1375) & antenna cable(A461 820 2315) and suspected these parts wouldn't fit my truck Thanks in advance (Antenna amplifier.jpg) (Antenna & cable.jpg) Attachments ---------------- Antenna amplifier.jpg (160KB - 0 downloads) Antenna & cable.jpg (220KB - 0 downloads)

There should be a connector / button on the glass. If you have the correct window, then I'd just get a shop to splice on the required length of antenna cable an be done with it.

Unfortunately the window pane/glass was broken & completely removed when I bought the truck I replaced it with new MB glass pane without knowing there should be an antenna & connector. Do you by any chance have the reference info on this? How does the antenna & the connector look like? Thanks again. Regards, Hoh KL

The part number is: A460 673 0810 instead of the antenna integrated glass pane of A463 673 0410 or 0510. Will source the correct window glass pane for replacement. Before I do that, is there any way I could test the antenna amplifier to ensure it works? How difficult is to splice a short length of antenna cable(at cut point)to connect to the radio? What parts do I required? Thanks. Regards, Hoh KL (Antenna integrated window glass.png) Attachments ---------------- Antenna integrated window glass.png (104KB - 0 downloads)
