I see a lot of chit chat about Wheel spacing but cant find the answer to this question : Can we use standard extruded bolts 5x130mm / 2" spacers on the W463 or does it have to be the Mercedes ajusted long bolt passtrough spacers sold on eBay ? There is plenty of choice for 5x130 spacers on eBay and some look better quality than the ones promoted as mercedes compatible but Im scared my original hub's bolts will not work with a standard extruded bolt spacer. Finally, I saw lots of Porshe spacers with lips but I undertand the center hole is too small for the W463 but what about the no-lip version ? What is the exact hub bore hole on the w463 ? See following link for the type of spacer I am looking at ordering : http://www.ebay.com/itm/2PCS-5X130-Wheel-Spacer-Adapter-14X1-5-Stud... Thx !

My Wheels were at the paint shop and they came back yesterday, they are wider than I originaly thought. Spacers were only for aesthetics but I realize 1/2" inline spacers will do just fine. I 'll get a fine if I go wider anyway as the local Canadaian laws restrict wheels sticking out of the side of the vehicule. Photos of my restoration project are coming soon, we are almost done and I'll finally get to put the beast back on the road Thx again and have a great Holiday !
