Not sure what I hit it on, possibly from the car wash. But, it snapped off and water is now dripping into the cabin out the dome light. The replacement is a little on the $$ side, considering I have absolutely no intention of ever using it. So, I was wondering if anyone knows of a cap or plug that I can get that would cap off the hole? Just for reference, I'm talking about this little antenna in this pic; (G500 antenna.jpg) Attachments ---------------- G500 antenna.jpg (9KB - 0 downloads)

I completely coated the antenna stub with silicone and then shrank the tubing down around the wet sealant. After the silicone dried, I put a small bead silicone around the inside of the metal tabs and pushed it back in. It's been water tight ever since. I have posted on this as well. It will just break again eventually and is a rather silly looking rhino horn. You do have the advantage of having a coax cable that is prerun to the roof from behind the dash for any other use you desire. http://www.pointedthree.com/disc/forums/showthread.php?tid=18267&st... It hits a low object before the roof does and I'd rather tear it off and re-heat shrink it than damage the bodywork. That is why I kept it.
