| Wheel size question
I have a friend looking into buying a G. He's looking between 2000 - 2008.
He asked me if I knew which years of the G500 or G55 AMG would accommodate a 16"wheel. He is interested in predominantly offroad use so the 16" wheel is important to him.
I don't have the answer, although I have a hunch that the determining factor will relate to the diameter of the discs brakes.
Any help is appreciated.
Also, If anybody has any 16"wheels for sale I'd be happy to pass the info along to him.

I believe the G55 has a larger caliper that will not accommodate a 16" wheel. They will work fine on all G500's. |

2005+ G55K has the larger brake caliper, naturally aspirated G55 1998 to 2004 has the same brakes as the G500. |
