Saw this on eBay... Repairs on a 02 G seem unavoidable, I have an 05 with 57K new and been paying for maintenance and repairs.
The joy might take a hit if there another big repair bill soon...

I get the sense that I shouldn't bother looking on ebay for a nice G. Has anyone on here purchased something from there that was a good buy?
If I end up going the 25 year import route, any specific exporters/contacts that anyone has experience with? |

My 2000 G500 was an Ebay buy in 2002, and I was very pleased. I got a truck that sold for $160k new 18 months earlier, in superlative condition, with 22k miles on the clock for $60k. Not bad, but what a terrible write-off for the original owner.. |

I found both of my Europa G's on EBay. You just have to keep looking, not just at eBay but all of the for sale sections of the G forums as well as the other auto trader type sites.
Like you've already done, run anything you find by the guys here. They have good eyes and know the market. I'll keep my eyes peeled. |
