Aloha

Just got a '14 G550 for the wife. Should be delivered in the next couple of weeks in our future, soon-to-be city, Vancouver, B.C. After more than 3 decades on the island this looks to be our final move!!
This is our 2nd W463. The spouse missed the first '02 G500 when it was sold back in 2007. Its her reward for being at my side for these past decades.
Appears that a decent number of forum members are from Canada.
Looking forward to learning and contributing to this MB forum.

Welcome from Calgary. Have a sister in Lahaina and also love G's!

Thanks buds!!! Your sis lives in the grandest city on the islands. Lots of heritage.

Wife is getting excited for her new wheels. Unlike our '02 (dark blue), she chose this color combination. Had to scour all of Canada and finally found one in Ontario. G's must be popular up there cause the dealerships have no stock. Long wait lists. Original plans was to get one on the mainland but its a hassle shipping to Canada and moreso, the exchange rate favors the US $. Fair to say we paid for a '14 what '12's and 13's are going for down here.

BTW, love dem cowgirls!!!

Re: Aloha

Not many G's in Canada. I feel lucky if i see one or two in a span of a week and some of them are the same vehicle. Mostly black here followed by Silver. Very Rarely you see white and blue. I know the one dealer will have a show room demo but everything is usually special order here. Prices are fairly high for vehicles and they hold their value.

Oh them Cowgirls, you have to watch out for them during the Stampede! Some of them have more than what you margin for lol

hawaii to van? prepare for some depression

Weather or mental depression? Having taken my undergrad in Ohio, will get used to both!!! LOL!!!
One thing for sure, my "island sickness" should finally be cured after 3 decades!!!!

jnicol - 4/26/2015 8:21 PM Welcome to the forum, enjoy the truck!

Appreciate the welcome. Once were settled in our Vancouver townhome, am planning to have a BC "drive around" for my '16 vacation break.
Ya got a beautiful province. Looking into some off-road trails on Vancouver Island. Any suggestions closer to Vnc.???

Haven't been active on the forum for a couple of months busy with the relocation logistics. Our container of personal effects (including a '15 Honda Fit) should be arriving and released by Sept. Right now am busy shuttling between my employer's offices in Tacoma.

Wife continues to love her G. For me, gotta find a way to get used to B.C.'s 12% tax on everything!!!!

Mahalo!!!
