I no longer own a G but decided to return to this informative group.
I bought a Korean made Musso with M104 engine, manual gearbox, part time TC and two low range gears.
Runs on 405/70/R15 tires, ARB lockers and CTIS.
The Koreans used M102, M104 and the 5 cyl diesel engines in their 4x4 when Mercedes stopped using those engines in their production.
Have any one of the G320 owners seen a map of Brake Specific Fuel Consumption of that engine?

I'm setting out for a one week long glacier drive, the car is new to me and I only have 200 litre fuel capacity and want to avoid filling the car with jerry cans.
