G-Cabrio 3rd Brake Light Retrofit

Greetings friends,

I am trying to retrofit the stock 3rd Brake Light that is stock on the newer G320/G500 Cabriolets, but unfortunately (or fortunately) is not on the older models such as mine.

There are two parts that I am having trouble finding:

1) The actual 3rd brake light with the Red light housing: Part number = ?

I'm aware Vlad at 4x4club has the Clear ones in stock, but I require the stock red one.

2) The OEM mounting arm for mounting the 3rd brake light: Part number = ?

I haven't actually seen this in person, so does anyone know if it is mounted to the rear spare tire mount assembly, or is it the entire rear spare tire mount that requires changing?

I would really appreciate if anyone has the Part Numbers for 1) and 2), or if anyone could PM their VIN number for a newer G-Cabrio that has the stock 3rd Brake Light, so I could plug it into EPC and look for it.

The company that I believe makes all third brake lights for the G is Hella.

You need to talk to Hella. They have a LARGE amount of aftermarket and retrofittable third brake lights that are available.

Here you have a vin from a 2006 G500 convertible WDB4632541X166211 and this is the vin from a 2002 G500 WDCYR49E82X128487.
I have seen before a picture of the unit and it is one single piece based on the early G spare wheel support. they welded an extension and added the 3rd brake light.
