Here's a link to an in car video on one of the many medium speed runs during the Sonora Rally. Many were faster than this and most were a bit more punishing, but this one was soooo fun. Keep in mind this is just 5 minutes out of the 4 long days. G's Rock!

Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement! It really means a lot to us.

Well deserved imho.

Any plans for upcoming events to shine with this G?

What I almost like the most is the use of the 230GE engine and how it holds up.
Too often, this engine is disregarded as too weak, too puny etc, but with the correct gearing it does come a long way and it proves itself to be durable and reliable!

gr. Bram

The 230 is a beast in the realm of durability! Mind you, we only did a top end rebuild and it has been getting run hard by Titus when he owned her. We ran her consistently at 4500-5500 rpm daily, all day long. She never gave a hint of issue.
We did not get around to juicing her up a little with a cam, like we intended, so she was stock. She was a little anemic for our need when running in the dunes and on the beach. With that being said, we will be changing her out this year for a turbo diesel. Most likely a 602 or a 606 or maybe a 612. We are currently looking at what is available in our limited price range.
