Where would the switch for a heated steering wheel be in this configuration? Thanks Oskar

I spent miles and miles trying to find it while driving one chilly 48 degree night. Does not have this switch and the steering wheel adjustment is on the switch set with the seat adjusters. on your 08, does the heat switch adjust do the steering wheel as well ? Thx Oskar

That indicates I need to replace the switch in the door and get a new one at the column Thx Oskar

And here i thought you were seeing things ! Here is photo of 2002. Maybe you do not have heat for your hands on your model ? "chilly 48 degree night" you guys in SoCal are a bit spoiled by mother nature. Even in 0 degree nights I never thought It would have been nice to have a heated steering wheel. Probably cz my hands were too frozen to feel anything. I guess I never got used to have one. Heated seats are becoming a necessity tho. Edited by ILIAN 2/8/2016 7:29 PM

Who in the world drives around holding the steering wheel at the "8 and 4 o'clock" positions? Maybe those heated areas are made so the ladies don't chill their knees when they're driving with one of them while texting and putting on makeup with their hands? -Dave G.

That way you can warm one hand at a time.

I figured as much Oskar. I meant no disrespect of course. The laugh was directed at MB for such a silly steering wheel design, not at your gallant attempts to ease your bride's way through life. I wonder if there are any car steering wheels that could be substituted that would have more heated area. Our best to both of you. We'll have to get together again soon. -Dave G.

But many years ago it stopped working. I wish I knew what it was but not even STAR knows...and when STAR doesn't know... On a plus, I believe the heated steering wheel has been the only thing to go wrong on my G since like 2010.
