External rocker cover

My rocker panel cover was badly cracked and the holding screws were rusty. I looked up the part # from the EPC ordered it, received it and found it to be about 4 inches too short even though it says in the description that they are the extended versions. They will not reach under/into the notched area in the factory fender flare recesses. I am now not sure which is the proper part number with the correct length.
The part numbers I ordered are: 4636902762, 4636902662

Here are other part numbers for them but still not clear which are the extended ones that came with my truck.: 4636901262, 4636902362, 4636901362

Anyone know what the correct part number is?
Thanks

Mark

Re: External rocker cover

Hi Mark, bummer they are too short for your SWB. I would suggest getting the MBUSA ones and trimming them down if you are thinking of ordering more. They will be a little too long, but that is more easily remedied than too short. I gave Kent a set of LWB rocker covers for his frankencabrio, I suspect he has done the same.

RE: External rocker cover

Mark,

You ordered the rocker moldings for after VIN 088780. Since your VIN ends in 072952, you actually need two pieces of A 463 690 12 62 according to the EPC.

The length of this molding (A 463 690 12 62) is 54.75 inches / 139 cm for reference.

I have it in stock if you want to check it in person.
