| Older G Parts Discontinued by MB
Hi Everyone,
If you have older G's, mine are 1993, you should make a list of any important parts you might need and check on quantity through MB. I am finding that a lot of parts like lower radiator hose, throttle cable, etc. are no longer being made and stocked by MB.
It's going to be quite a challenge to keep our older G's going.

I need to figure out the transmission oil cooler lines for the 500GE. The hoses that I ordered off of the EPC part number were incorrect and not long enough. |

I also ordered transmission lines several times, the connector ends were not correct. I think they are going to have to be manufactured. One of my G's has a slight leak at the fitting.
If you obtain the correct parts, please let me know.

My trans cooler hoses leaked at the crimped connections. I took them out and have them replaced w/ new hoses and crimps at a local hydraulic hose shop. That lasted a week. 2nd round of recrimp seemed to hold. In the meantime, I am ordering OEM hoses. All from Germany. |
