Hey guys, word on the street is that many car forum sites have been hacked. Now whether this is directly correlated to Benzworld, it seems to have affected a lot of v-bulliton sites. Just a heads up. http://jalopnik.com/45-million-accounts-hacked-at-some-of-the-bigge... Edited by langoff-road 6/15/2016 9:53 PM

Did that one work? The website right now says it has no record of my Username or my email address, even though I can see some of the messages posted with my Username. A new password won't do much in that case. It's obviously "fornicated above", as a friend of mine used to say.

Out of the blue they emailed me a new password a couple of days ago. The only thing I could come up with is that they were perhaps hacked. I have not used it yet however. I will soon though, I haven't been there in awhile.

However, there's an update on their page: Hello Everyone, We wanted to give you an update on the reset password emails that went out yesterday. Due to the high volume of emails going out and some service providers blocking them as spam, users have either been getting them late, or not at all. If you have not received your password reset email please use the password reset function “forgot password”. These emails will go through a paid provider and should show up instantly. To do so just go to log in >> once it redirects you click forgot password >> follow the steps provided. If you do not remember the email address associated with your account you can use the contact us tab at the bottom of the page to email us for assistance. Please select the “other” option and add subject “security password issues” We apologize for any disruption this has caused to your forum experience. Johan-Kr
