I'm trying to fix the notorious "blower only works in positions 1 and 2" problem. I know that in later models the part was moved to the passenger footwell. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks! Open your hood with the fresh air flap open and you can access it.

A new blower switch solved my "works in 1 and 2" problem. I replaced that first, as I already had the dash out, with the thought I may have to replace the resistor. http://www.eurotruck-importers.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_83&products_id=399

It was the resistor. If indeed you end up replacing the resistor, a fully open hood and very small hands are necessary.
