I have seen a few jeeps and other trucks with the entire exterior with Rhino Coat typically used for bed liners. I am concerned with uv breakdown over time. Have any of you used these for bed liners and would you use it again?

Even new it looked icky. I'd recommend against it. A re-paint with "Colorado Beige" would be nice and probably much cooler inside too. Edited by AlanMcR 12/14/2016 4:47 PM

I prefer a nice standard paint job however. gr. Bram

Or you could shutz gun the Monstaliner and get it done quicker. It is UV stabilized. A buddy has his out for a couple years now and not faded. I am about to do the cage on my skid steer with some of it in gray and can report back.

If you decide to do it, make sure you come back in 5 years to express your regrets for the benefit of others. Good luck with warranty claims.... I did the lower section on my Syncro van at the recommendation of a known premium vendor. To "protect from rock chips," actually it is just as susceptible to rock chips and the coat will fail even with a half decent prep. The only choice at that point is to redo the bed liner, which I did. I have seen bed liner painted over body color. It looks like it is hiding rust, I think that is why it is often applied, to hide rust repair and body panel irregularities. Edited by otiswesty 1/28/2017 1:02 AM
