With that said, I hope some one here can shed some light on my issue. I had the driver side and rear passenger side door locks inoperable when I got the truck. I bought the $59 aftermarket lock actuators from our favorite four by four online parts store. Installed the lock actuators and they worked for all of 5 mins. After five mins, the door locks stopped working again. Now my rear drivers door also will not lock but will unlock. In putting everything back, I noticed that a few door panel tabs were broken causing the door lock knob to rub against the panel. I have since put in new tabs and lock knobs. Any and all suggestions appreciated. I just want the locks working... nothing like walking up to the "G" and having to use the key to unlock the door. Edited by bnZE430/1999 1/19/2017 12:04 PM

I am not sure... you may know better. If I locked with the remote and open with the key first... Alarm goes off. If I unlock with the remote first and then unlock and open drivers side door, alarm does NOT go off.

This is an easy fix if you can find the module and a soldering iron. I decided to change course. I am going to go with the OEM locks instead of the aftermarket ones and than I will be doing this. THANK YOU!!!
