It appears that this company in Germany does G320 ECU repairs. http://www.hitzpaetz.de
They also have pre-repaired ECU units available for purchase.
I'm going to talk with them to see if I can send them my failed G320 factory ECU and have them repair it.

I gotta ask...did you disconnect battery and turn ignition off before the swap ?
I did not disconnect the battery, but the ignition was off. I will check the fuse first, it was okay last night but I think that was before. |

This 017 ECU may be 300GE

The EPC says this ECU 017 545 37 32 is spec'd for the following models:
463.208
463.230
463.231
All of these are spec'd as G320 (M104.996) + G36 AMG models.
A 300GE (M103) model would be 463.207, 463.227 or 463.228. |
