Small reservoir against the back of engine bay?

I went onto the EPC and cannot find an engine bay guide, so I am asking. What is the small reservoir at the back of a G550 engine bay, near the firewall? Is it for the differential locks? And perhaps more important, how screwed am I if it's empty? I am scheduled for a full work over next weekend, but just noticed this today. What do I add, for now, brake fluid?

That would be the reservoir for the diff locks. You're not screwed if it's empty. Just need to figure out where it is leaking from, fix it, fill it (DOT 4 I think), bleed it and then when you can find dirt area, drive around and exercise the system.

I filled it up and the following weekend it went in for a full 100k service and they couldn't find a leak.... which means that it's been empty for a while and that the dealer didn't fill it. Just one more reason not to use my dealer.
