thebigblue Date registered: Jan 2012 Location: Vehicle(s): | Re: 240GD NATO survivor I have no idea - But it´s very similar to the ex Danish Military SWB 240GD that has been actioned here locally directly from the source, for around DKK 50.000,00 ($ 8,000.00) Sure it has a new paint job... but still? Please note that I´m no expert on prices, just sharing information.

They usually go for 5-10.000 euro at the auction. It´s hard to judge the quality of the restoration just from the pics but some details suggest a cheap restoration done in Poland. If You want a military G You should probably look for a Swiss military 230GE. They sell for about 8-11k in Europe but they are usually rust free as the Swiss are nearly compulsive in the way how they maintain their cars and also use to store them in underground tunnels and bunkers.

Is this a Bundeswehr specific part? You probably need to resize and repost your picture in the near future... gr. Bram

Not if you want to drive it rather than just look at the pretty paint job. Dash is a mess too. If the interior condition matched the exterior looks, the exterior looks were for real (no body filler), and the motor had another cylinder or two and a turbo, then the ask might be be OK given room to talk down 4 or 5k. Here 70 lwb 230GE's in stock in various colours: https://www.vanvliet.com/vehicles/s/529/jeeps4wd/softtop/mercedes-23... The number of ex-military G's released to the public, don't justify the words 'rare', 'survivor' etc anymore. Gr. Bram
