Here are a couple of pictures of a Canadian G that was hit by a suicide bomber on a motorcycle in Afghanistan today. Fortunately no one (except the bomber) was injured, but the G died an honorable death.

Ouch! Those Canadian and NATO Forces are fighting just as hard of a battle in Afghanistan as the US and Coalition Forces in Iraq; but they're not getting any press coverage to speak of in the US.

Its a tough one, in a recent battle publicised in the UK press 8 Paras took on 200 Taliban guess who won??

This received in an email from Paul today:

There is a neat story about one of our g wagens in kandahar from a few months ago. A soldier was in the back seat and he looked left only to see an rpg explode on his window
The core of the rpg never entered through the armoured glass even though it did explode.


I'm sure they are still cleaning his pants out.
