sjtymko G-Class Photo Host Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: Canada, AB, Sherwood Park (Edmonton) Vehicle(s): 2002 G500, 2009 B200 Posts: 511 | Pic wanted Several years ago someone posted a picture of a, I think Norweigan, Mil G that was a crew cab with covered box. It had a roof rack, hatch, and 16" star alloys. Anyone remember what I am talking about from my rather vague description? I am wondering if anyone has a pic of this rig they can post/PM/or email me? TIA, Steve

The one I have in mind is taken from the front right side and I believe it has the spare on the roofrack. Kerr, I think that one with CTIS is built on a Mog chassis thus having the ability to use CTIS. It is one really cool looking rig. Steve

BTW, Daimler-Chrysler's UNIMOG Division has said that ORC must remove all of the UNIMOG axles from the G's on which they have been installed. Very sad.......
Something about the axles not being approved for use with the G and ORC having to pay over 1 million Euros to go through the approval process.

Thanks so much. However, due to my terrible description, we all got to see many other really cool and rare rigs. This is why I love this board so much. Thanks again to all. Looking at all of these again, I really would love to have this configuration: Double cab with cargo box - the perfect work truck. Steve PS - What does it take to mount mog axels on a G? How do you deal with differences in pumpkin location and rotation of driveshafts? I've never got this one.

Perhaps they should just remove the axles and G's from Germany alltogether, to a place free from such restrictions. Georgia sounds good... Edited by G4Garret 10/7/2006 1:25 PM
