RE: A little off topic yet will be much loved here

Nice!! You know the calvin pissing on chevy or ford or fill in the blank stickers? I always wanted to print up some calvin pissing on "hummer" stickers for my mog. Anything to piss those posers off.

Yea I hate these people in Hummers that think that they are in a "real" 4x4.
I pulled a jeep out of a ditch yesterday. He went off the road and was REAL stuck..

I love it when I pass by a Hummer and see the driver's lower jaw just drop and I can read their lips. I see the same reaction from M-class owners too. But hey, give the M-class owners credit for driving an MB product. The M-klassers would not be here if it wasn't for the founding of the G first.

Re: A little off topic yet will be much loved here

I had an argument with a guy yesterday about Jeeps being the ultimate 4wd, he was telling me that all the rock crawlers etc are jeeps, so I did a little show and tell with him online and demonstrated that the 4wd's of choice around the world in it's most dangerous and difficult places are essentially limited to three vehicles, the Land Rover, the Mercedes G and the Toyota Land Cruiser with an honorable mention to Mitsubishi products. Lets just say it shut him up. Just like one of my favorite quotes "diamonds...that'll shut 'er up".

That's sort of like saying that Monte Carlos are fast cars because so many NASCAR cars are Monte Carlos.  Your friend should know that the list of things that make those rock crawlers great were not made by Jeep...er the Jeep Division of Daimler Chrysler.... :)  Maybe the forms to mold the plastic body parts were made to look similar to Jeep body parts, but that's about as far as it goes.

It also is odd to think that rock crawling ability is the only measure of performance.
