KERR Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | 3ed row seats While on the hummer board reading up on the open top to hard top conversions they had the link posted to the company that makes the tops. Well they also make a 3ed row for the G500. It says to call about the price. http://www.calgoldproducts.com/public_html/html/mercedes_kit.html

They bolt directly onto the existing tie-downs, so no hole drilling needed. "15" min install time. They ARE NOT D.O.T. certified. Actually, there is an outfit in Modesto Ca that makes MUCH nicer seats that ARE D.O.T. spec, for basically the same price. http://www.littleseats.com/mercedes_ml320.htm I spoke with the owner a while back, and he stated there HAS been interest from G owners, but he's the picky type, and didn't want to comment on feasiblity until he had an example to inspect. Anyone in the Valley that could drop by for an inspection?????

I visit usually during the holidays and weekends. If someone is serious about this and needs someone to go by, I will. If this guy was open on a Saturday I would be more than happy to help out in the next few weeks. Will a W460 work for a "model" ? A private message should be appropriate if someone was interested and wanted me to stop by. Happy "short-bus" building ! Mike

I think the back of a 460 is pretty different from a 463. The back seats are closer to the front seats on a 460... more space for storage, less for back seat passengers. I doubt the wheel wells have changed so maybe the tie downs would be in the same place?
