Hopefully this will be my last project for my G...but we have heard or said that before. Here is a photo of the material. Can't wait to see the final result. Whats your final impression of the company you bought the material from. Would you deal with them again?

A running meter of material is 150cm wide by 1 meter long. I figured 1 meter per seat. Peter Steenbruck was very professional, offered references in the USA and is only a wire-transfer away from getting your material. http://www.steenbuck-web.de/mercedes_polster_w_107_s2.htm I would deal with them again, always kept email contact. BESIDES, he is the only game in town. The 20 year old material on the rear seat, jump seats and back panel is a little faded compared to the new stuff, but you would have that pretty much with any material. I was contemplating upgrading my stock Recaros to the newer Orthoped or Ergomed models at least for the driver side until my engine rebuild ate that part of the budget. I am always watching Ebay for deals for a possible Recaro upgrade, but am a little gun-shy on purchasing a used seat unless I can see it firsthand. I will post finished results in the next month or so. Mike Edited by DesertStar 12/2/2006 11:12 PM
