| No diesel G or GL off road?
So I know that a lot of are interested in a diesel G as am I. But it seem's we cant get one.
Next best thing in my book for the wife and I would be a diesel GL with the off road package. Well I went to www.MBUSA.com today (after riding in a friends new blue tech E class) thinking that with the diesel motor and the 7 speed, ad in lockers you would have a heck of a mall cruiser. What I found out is that you CAN get a GL diesel, but you CAN’T get a GL diesel OFF ROAD.
So why would MB give you the off road package in the gas and not the diesel.... also if these motor are certified already why not slap one in the G wagon? I mean if it works in the ML, GL, E class and upcoming CL . Not to mention the fact they sale them over sea’s
So what do you guys think?

We don't want all.....we just want a G320 CDI. IN fact, we will give back something else if we can just have the G320 CDI. You can have the R class back, or maybe the Maybach. I wasn't getting one anyway. |

They should give us the G320 CDI just for punishing us a few years back with that damn C - Class hatchback. I'll definitely send back the R-Class too. We already have the Pacifica here... |

Not in North America, unless someone changes their marketing strategy to a more outcome successful mode. |
