Parts and Pricing

Is there a new website for getting parts pricing?
I have a list of part numbers and I would like to get the details on them...

For US available parts, check out Duval Motors' website. They're right up the road from you in Gainesville.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213951

Put the part number in the "Search" by part number box and it'll give you retail and their discounted price. Be sure to indicate that it's a MB part, not a Jeep.

I just priced the newest upgraded steering damper. Their price is US$162 vs MB List Price of $199. You'll be surprised at just how many parts are actually available for our G's in the US; since they're the same as on some passenger cars.

(Thanks to mb230s for this tip! )

RE: Parts and Pricing

Although I really enjoy speaking with Sean and Steve, I do not like to call those guys until I am ready to purchase something.

The guys are VERY helpful when it comes to G-Wagon parts, but they DO NOT like to give out part numbers, and I do not blame them. They have spent a lot of time and money acquiring parts from Europa, and getting all of that information in one place. They do not want to quote you part numbers so that you can price shop on the web and at the local dealerships... and that's business.

I also do not want to call them whenever I get a whim. They are a precious resource and I do not want to wear out my welcome and good rapport.

Re: Parts and Pricing

An example of this, would be last night. When I was troubleshooting my door locks issue, I wrote down EVERY part number I could find in the electrical box found in the engine compartment. I wanted to find out what each of the modules were and what they went to. I wanted to get an idea of how much it would cost to replace specific ones (in case they were bad), and then label them acordingly for future reference.
I would personally feel very guilty wasting EuroTruck's time while chasing down this information.

...but perhaps I can waste the local dealerships time.... that would be a lot more fun!!! haha

I've found several for mine, but there is to commonality in parts with the later models. One example is the updated steering damper: 463.463.00.32. (They don't use the "A" prefix, btw.)

I guess you noticed that they won't ship to you anyway.

Re: Parts and Pricing

I've checked the Duval site for a lot of 111, 121, and 463 parts the past several weeks. Found most everything.
