A few pics for you guys.

I was getting some parts off of a MB parts car in the yard this morning and I had a camera with me, so I figured someone might like to see one of my old G's at work as the tool truck it was a bit muddy back there.

Enjoy!

RE: A few pics for you guys.

Sorry to be so boaring, I guess I'm just a boaring person. I just wist I could have taken pictures of the wheelin' that it takes to get to that location when it is so wet. I'll try to have something more exciting next time.

Cheers,
Ben

The photos resemble a nurse emptying bedpans at a nursing home. Sad to see those old Benz sit, but glad to know they are still giving life to others.

Don't pay any attention to such comments... I loved the pictures. I wish I had a yard like that too and time to play with it. Thanks for sharing

Re: A few pics for you guys.

Interesting photos. I think I counted five MB sedans that could have been mine. It does not appear as though you are taking these cars apart. Are they yours or just on the trail to somewhere?

RE: A few pics for you guys.

Thomas,

They're all parts cars, people around here just don't usually need body parts for the older cars. Most of the parts that get sold readily off of these are electrical, interior stuff, and engine and trans pieces.

Cheers,
Ben

RE: A few pics for you guys.

Ben, you ought to at least put a plug in for yourself, webpage or ?, many here on this and other P3 forums could use a source for used parts and would rather keep the business in "the family", when the need arises.

Re: A few pics for you guys.

You had me worried there for a bit. At first, I thought you were lining up all your wrecked MBs and was about to attempt an Evil Knevil (spelling) jump over them with your ex-rally G. That is a nice collection for spares. I know some Vietnamese people here in OKC who would love those for export to their home country for spare parts.

RE: A few pics for you guys.

ben, we need to get together and take some "exciting" off road pictures. maybe "highwater" in the knobs is still open?
by the way, i saw a 463 g500 power top convertable last night at mall st. matthews. it was blueish purple and 2 girls driving it. i didn't get a chance to talk to them as they were leaving.

RE: A few pics for you guys.

I think "highwater" is closed, or at least if you get caught. Someone flipped a jeep up there about a year ago and their young daughter was seriously injured, (I don't remember if she recovered or passed away) but ever since the police have been watching it very close and keeping everyone out. If nothing else, we've got some pretty rugged terrain here on the farm, we can wheel on that.
