For those who are interested, I found a RC G500 at The Source (ex Radio Shack in Canada). It wasn't a 'monster truck' type and looked pretty blinged out to me. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and didn't inspect it very closely. I will try to get a better look next time I am in Edmonton. I didn't catch the price either.ST |

yea i found one for my daughter at Target. It was $12.00 and its blinged out.
I have seen on e bay that some one is not making the bodys for the gas powered RC cars. it looks pretty good..

no doubt. From what I have been told you can drop $1500-3K in one of those Alcohol / methanol powered RC cars. But at the same time they make them now with automatic transmission that shift gears and full time awd..
A kid that lives down from a friend of mine has one that has a Dodge ram body on it. Its 4 x 4 and has like a 3 or 4 speed gear box. The truck does like 75-80 mph.. its freaking crazy. |

I see those all the time at Wal-Mart and Radio Shack here. Even when my wife and I went to Hutchinson, KS for Christmas, I saw a couple at the Radio Shack in Hutch Mall. |

My daughter gave me the 1:10 scale electric one from WalMart for Christmas. It's obviously not as fast as the gas models but it has a low range and a "turbo" setting for some additional speed. It's my first decent RC car and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
The most fun is chasing my 9 month-old, 80 pound Ridgeback with it. He goes nuts:-)

Nice dog, My wife wanted a ridgeback but all the people we called wanted you to have them as a show dog. I guess they didnt want there pups living the good life and playing in the yard and lake like most dogs dream off.
We got a weimaraner instead. He was crazy! |

Thanks, Kerr. Fortunately, San Diego County is a hot bed for Ridgeback breeders. There are breeders that won't let you have the dog unless you sign an agreement to show him. There are enough quality breeders that I was finally able to get a "companion" dog - he has a slight kink in his tail.
Anyway, we're way off topic, but the RC G-wagen is a good way to exercise your dog. |
