Trailers should be loaded with 60% of the cargo weight in front of the axles. The best way I've found is to push the car forward or aft on the trailer until you like the way the set up lokks in relation to the tow vehicle. I towed my 16v many thousands of miles, granted, with an F250. It was pretty obvious to see how much effect moving a car forward as little as 4-6 centimeters will make. |
